The gambling industry, who turn over billions of pounds a year in revenue, are coming under increasing pressure.

Campaign groups across the country know about the effects of gambling addiction – a real illness as backed up by American research in 2014.

Over 1 million people are at risk of becoming gambling addicts and in 2010 (British Gambling Prevalence Survey) around 500,000 people thought they might have a problem. I suspect many more suffer through gambling, but do not know they have a problem.
