Gamblers lose over £16m last year on controversial betting terminals in Redbridge

Redbridge’s gamblers lost £16,262,226 last year on controversial Fixed Odds Betting Terminals (FOBT), new figures have revealed.

In research by The Campaign for Fairer Gambling, a total of 10,653 players used 256 FOBTs in 71 betting shops across Redbridge in 2014.
